I founded Basecamp Heating and Cooling in the fall of 2025. This business is the culmination of a lifelong journey and a deeply held belief that a home service company should always prioritize the customers.

Growing up in the coast range in a logging family, I learned the importance of hard work and community. After graduating from Eastern Oregon University, I went on to complete my HVAC/R training at UTI in Phoenix, Arizona. I was drawn to the trade because I knew I could use my skills to help people in a tangible way, ensuring they were comfortable in their homes no matter the season. In 2004, I moved to Central Oregon and was immediately captivated by the landscape and the people. I've been proud to call this community home ever since.

For the past 21 years, I've had the privilege of working for one of the region's top home service providers. I worked my way through various roles, gaining invaluable experience across the industry, from service and installation to team leadership. This experience taught me a great deal about the business, but over the last few years, I felt a strong pull to do things differently. I saw a need to get back to the fundamentals—a business model focused on genuine customer care and honest service, not just on the next replacement opportunity.

That's why I started Basecamp Heating and Cooling. Our name reflects our mission: to be the reliable, trusted basecamp for all your heating and cooling needs. It’s a place where you're not just a transaction but a valued member of our community. My goal is to earn your trust through transparent communication, expert work, and a commitment to doing what's right for you and your home, every single time.
