From the Coast Range to Central Oregon

I grew up on the Coast Range of Oregon in a logging family, where I learned early on that hard work isn’t just a task—it’s a way of life. After graduating from Eastern Oregon University and completing my HVAC/R training at Universal Technical Institute Arizona, I moved to Central Oregon. I was immediately captivated by the landscape and the people, and I’ve been proud to call this community home ever since.

Why I Started Basecamp

For 22 years, I’ve had the privilege of working for one of the region's top home service providers. I worked my way through every role—from service and installation to team leadership. While that experience was invaluable, over the last few years, I felt a strong pull to do things differently.

I saw a need to get back to the fundamentals: a business model focused on genuine customer care and honest service, not just the next replacement opportunity. In 2026 I founded Basecamp Heating and Cooling to be exactly that.
